About

Dr. Wytress Richardson is a highly qualified leader in the fields of education and organizational development, with a focus on helping women and girls become effective, transformational leaders.

With more than 20 years of managerial experience in the human services field as a dually certified mental health and substance abuse counselor and as a clinical supervisor in public and private organizations, Dr. Richardson has a strong foundation on which she helps others achieve their greatest potential.

Dr. Richardson has 18 years of experience in higher education, including clinical supervision, coaching, program/curriculum development, leadership and project management, in addition to 15 years of experience as a life coach, supporting others to set goals, modify behavior and grow. 

In 2007, Dr. Richardson founded her own nonprofit organization, Girls of Grace Youth Center, dedicated to mentoring and equipping girls and young women with valuable leadership and life skills.

Dr. Richardson has published six books and more than one dozen articles on topics related to leadership, management, early childhood development, education and psychology, as well as these topics’ intersection with race and gender.

Countless lives have been improved through Dr. Richardson’s work, and she strives to help even more women and girls become the best leaders and individuals they can be through her One-on-One Executive Coaching, Essence of Leadership Group Coaching, and Girls of Grace Youth Center programming.
